by cvb 7 May 2007 2:50 PM Downtown Merced comes alive every Thursday evening this spring and summer with the Merced Downtown Association’s Thursday Night Fest. On Main Street, which is closed to vehicles between M & K Streets, and Canal at Bob Hart Square to 18th Street, purchase good food, fresh produce, and local handicrafts while enjoying free live music. There is also fun for the kids. There’s plenty of free parking. Thursday Night Fest takes place every Thursday beginning May 10 thru September 13, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (closed July 26, County Fair week). Be part of Merced’s Thursday tradition while supporting our local merchants. Grab a bite, listen to music, and stock up on fresh local produce – all without leaving Merced! |
